SLIDE MIDDLE BOARD
Spin the spin wheel that unlocked at the end of the introduction to reveal a message.
(If more info needed) The middle of the three countertop boards on the desk can move.
LOOK UNDER BROKEN LAKE
Match the four tiles to the four objects that are on display behind the counter. The instructions on the back of the tiles will tell you which letters you need to get a new message.
One of the shows on the ticket board is called ‘Broken Lake Ballet’, looking under the Broken Lake Ballet will give you the next part of the puzzle as well as the start of a code.
UNLOCKING THE ROPE
The message under the Broken Lake will give you the next part of the puzzle and the starting numbers in a code. As you follow where this puzzle leads, you will find enough numbers to make a code for a 4-digit lock in the room.
(If needed, the number ONE you find will be the last number in the 4-digit code)
USING THE ROPE
Find a hook in the room and use the rope to pull it up.
Unlock Spin Wheel
Turn off the Tapo switch ‘C1 - Spin lock’ to unlock the Spin Wheel lock.
Slide Middle Counter Board > Counter Box > Display Lights
Turn off the Tapo switch ‘C1 - CounterBox' to open the Counter box and turn on the display lights.
Unlock Flyers
Use the HQ switch labeled ‘Flyers’ to unlock the Flyers manually.
Slide Middle Board
Groups will listen to a short audio intro. At the end of that the spin wheel will unlock. Spinning the wheel will reveal the text “SLIDE THE MIDDLE COUNTERTOP BOARD”.
Sliding the middle countertop board will open the box underneath the till with four wooden pieces, as well as turn on the lights in the display cabinet (“Madame Roses Cabinet of Curiosities”).
Look Under Broken Lake
Each wooden board relates to an item in the display cabinet.
Lookalike Masks: First word, First four letters.(LOOK)
Thunder Bird Feather: First word, Last five letters. (UNDER)
Broken Urn of Anubis: First word, First six letters. (BROKEN)
Lake Nymph Tears: First word, First four letters. (LAKE)
Broken Lake Ballet
Matching the instructions on the wooden boards to the labels of the items in the display cabinet will give “LOOK UNDER BROKEN LAKE”.
Groups will look under the “BROKEN LAKE BALLET” board in the ticket display and see “LOOK BEHIND THE LIGHT SWITCH - 27”.
A light switch magnetised on the wall to the left side of the door has a number “8”, as well as a plate that tells you to “LOOK UNDER MIDDLE BOARD”.
Underneath the middle countertop board will be the number “1”.
Rope Box
When you have gotten all of those items it will give you the number “2781” which will unlock the box on the counter that has the rope in it.
Using the rope to pull a hook inside the Ticket Stubs box will release the flyers from the roof.
