WHAT IS THE GO?


A large group booking is for groups that are larger than what we can fit in a room at any given time (7 or more people). This extends to anything from work events to birthday parties to hen's and buck's nights or maybe you're just really popular. We schedule the rooms to start simultaneously, so everybody gets in and (hopefully) out at the same time.




HOW DO I BOOK?


For groups of 14 or less participants, you can either book online or contact us to arrange your booking! If you are booking online we require that the rooms are in the same session (e.g. Starting within the same hour) and that you let us know in the Booking Notes section. The best way to go about booking for 14 or more participants is to flick us an email to info@escaperoomscanberra.com with your desired booking date, time and experience, number of participants and any special requirements you may have. If you're not quite sure on the specifics you can just ball-park it and we can figure out the rest as we go.




DO WE ALL START AT THE SAME TIME?


Yes! For the most part. We can run groups of up to 14 people simultaneously across our two rooms. For larger bookings we run multiple sessions, usually an hour and a half apart. All bookings will start between the Salem and Vault rooms' starting time.




CAN I JUST BOOK IT ONLINE?


Absolutely! If you'd like to book more than one experience online just go ahead and follow the standard booking procedures for the rooms you'd like to book. We only require that the rooms are in the same session (e.g. Rooms starting within the same hour) and that you let us know in the booking notes. Once that's done we will be in touch with you to organise your function further.




DO WE GET A DISCOUNT?


Not currently as we have a maximum limit of 14 participants at any one time, however if you give us a call, we can see if we can throw together a package with the bar to save you some money.




DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?


We are able to put a booking on hold for up to a week while you sort the ins and outs. After this, a deposit of $40 per room will be required to secure the booking. Deposits are refundable up to two business days before the booking date. Cancellations within two business days of the booking date will forfeit the deposit.




DO YOU HAVE ANY FOOD AVAILABLE?


We have a small range of complimentary bar snacks available upon purchase of any alcoholic beverage. We allow large groups to organise catering to our bar Garden Party. Please contact us to arrange any sort of catering for your group.




BAR HIRE?


For exclusive or out of hours hire of our bar, Garden Party, we do not have a booking fee but we do we require a $200 minimum spend. This minimum spend must be a bar tab. The bar tab must be arranged and paid for prior to the booking and is subject to our cancellation policy.
