LIGHT THE CANDLE
One of the two candles on the wall isn't lit. Look closer at that candle.
BOOKS
Placing the books onto the bookshelf in numerical order will spell out a message for you.
FOLLOW THE EYES
Ask the group if they have spelled the message. The message is: FOLLOW THE EYES.
The books have an arrow that points to the Skull. The Skull is looking at the painting of the little girl with the S.
Starting with the painting that has the ‘S’ on it closest to the bookshelf, follow the eyes of the paintings around the room.
(More Info) Follow where the eyes of the characters on the paintings are looking. Complete the sentence that is under the painting that is above the fireplace. For example, the painting with the ‘S’ looks at the painting with the ‘L’, so the message starts with ‘SL’.
SLIDE ME UP
The full message from the paintings is ‘SLIDE ME UP’. Slide the painting that says ‘ME’ upwards.
Unlock Desk Books
Reset the Tapo Switch ‘Salem- Desk Lights’ to unlock the desk.
Slide Me Up Picture & Light The Dark Drawers
Turn off the Tapo switch ‘Salem - Left Drawers’ to unlock the ‘light the dark’ drawers.
Reset Tapo switch ‘Salem - Mantle’ if the drawers don't lock when setting up.
Candle
At the end of the introduction audio, the woman says, “FIND THE ONLY CANDLE THAT ISN’T LIT”.
This will lead groups to the candle to the left of the Ouija Board
Pulling the candle away from the wall will drop the cover on the desk, revealing eight books.
Books
Each of the eight books has a number and a letter on the spine, the same as the five books fixed in place on the bookshelf to the right.
Placing the books onto the bookshelf in numerical order will give groups a message.
The message is “FOLLOW THE EYES”.
Follow The Eyes
On some of the books is an arrow pointing to the skull, indicating where groups should start 'following the eyes'.
The skull is looking at the starting point which is with the painting with the “S” on it closest to the bookshelf.
Groups need to follow where the paintings are looking, linking all the letters on the paintings together.
When all the paintings have been followed, groups will get the message “SLIDE ME UP”.
Sliding up the painting that has “ME” on it will open the two left-hand desk drawers.
