COUNT THE FLASHES
Run the planchette (the wooden object with the circle cut out of it) across the arc of the alphabet on the Oujia Board. When you hit four different letters, a different coloured light will flash a number of times.
(More Info) Count the number of flashes for each of the four coloured lights. The lock on the small box has the same four colours that are flashing. Put the number of flashes into the corresponding colour on the lock
(Example) Put the circle of the planchette on the letter K. A red light will flash twice. 2 is the number that you want to put into red number on the coloured lock.
OUIJA BOARD
Place the letters from the box into the corresponding coloured square in the box lid that matches the letter on the Ouija Board. This will give you four codes.
CHAINS
When the letters are placed into their coloured square, they will block some numbers. The numbers left showing will be the code for the corresponding coloured lock on the chain.
LOCKPICK
You have just unlocked a chain with a large metal key. There's a keyhole above the fireplace.
Ouija Board & KATE Audio
If spelling KATE on the Ouija board doesn't work, reset the Tapo switch ‘Salem - Ouija’
or press the HQ switch labeled ‘Salem - KATE’ to trigger the audio and help the group move on to the next step.

Reset the Tapo switch ‘Salem - Ouija’ if the frames aren't lighting up.
Letters
Inside the Ouija board is a wooden planchette
Running the planchette across the Ouija board letters K, A, T, and E will each light up a different coloured led that will flash a number of times.
K Red = Two | A Green = Three | T Yellow = One | E Blue = Four
Gives the code: 2 3 1 4
Chains
Groups can use the code to unlock a small box containing the letters K, A, T, and E = “KATE”
Placing these letters into the corresponding coloured frame in the lid of the Ouija board will show groups the four codes needed to unlock the chain on the wall.
K Red = 268 | A Green = 136 | T Yellow = 4679 | E Blue = 268
Unlocking all four locks allows groups to carry the metal lockpick key across to the keyhole just above the fireplace, opening the hidden door.
